Motorcycle Raffle to raise money for Lung
Cancer Research. The tickets are $100 each.
Anything sold over 80 tickets will go to a Cancer research
related charitable organization. Blake Ivey’s (owner)
Grandfather (Jim Rigell) was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in
November. He is currently going through treatment at MD
Anderson. It is a long, painful day-to-day process.
There have been many breakthroughs in lung cancer treatment.
However, there is still much progress to be made. The American
Cancer Society estimates that over 200,000 new cases of lung cancer
will be diagnosed this year. According to the U.S. National
Cancer Institute, approximately one out of 14 men and women in the
US will be diagnosed with cancer of the lung at some point their
life. As you can see, lung cancer as well as other types of
cancer touches many people’s lives. Every dollar donated towards
cancer research counts. Please help in the fight against
cancer.
